"High seed purity" means:
- Flowers were isolated by hand using the bagging method.
- This method is used to prevent cross pollination of tomato varieties with exposed pistils (potato leafs, currants and some others).
- Requires extra work (thus the smaller packets and the higher prices).
No mention of purity = Average to good purity:
- Varieties spaced 3 to 4 m apart (9 to 12 feet), grown on an isolated lot separated by a 3 m-high hedge from flowers and ornamentals.
- The lot was checked for pollinators, and they were quite infrequent in this area.
- This is for the normal tomato types, with retracted pistils, that are not easily prone to cross pollination.

These tomatoes have a
very unusual skin pattern reminiscent of
lava or flames. Shape and size: from medium to very large, from

Italian variety providing small, bulbous, Roma-type fruits. Very good
flavor, aromatic, rich and intense. Silky, creamy flesh. Many uses:

Furry
Red Boar This is one incredible looking tomato. It will ripen while still retaining some green, yellow and orange streaks here and there. It is also quite firm (like an apple) up until late maturity. There is finally that strange soft skin, smooth and silky. Just peel it if it ever gets too thick.

Green Giant
This one is an exceptional variety for many
reasons. First, it's the only potato leaf with green fruits. And this
one is really green, even when ripe (turns to lime green). Also, the
fruits are among the largest of the greens at 500 g. Finally there is
that wonderful, delicious taste, which can be described as fruity and
tangy. Flesh is also very smooth and tender.

Giallo a Grappoli
This is a specialty type that is kept hung in Italy for winter use.
Fruits turn
quickly to a clear yellow color but will not ripen completely on the
plant. They will keep for months afterwards when stored in a cool
place. Selection with golden yellow skin and yellow to peach flesh

Lutescent (Lutescent, Honor Bright)
These tomatoes first appear in a pale green color but then turn white, yellow, orange and finally red. The foliage is yellowish (it's normal) and the flowers are white. A very unusual genetic.
